Entry#4 Hear this!

Music has always been around as long as humans existed. Throughout the years music has also been very different depending on where you live and the people you are surrounded with. In some parts music is made with natural sounds like hand clapping, stopping and singing, but in other places music is made with instruments and electronic devices. We all like music no matter where we are from, but a lot of us do not get to experience what electronic dance music offers (edm). Imagine a beat that is fast paced, loud, and addicting, that is what EDM is all about

For those who are new to this genre it is pretty much like a mixture between techno and house music, a lot of these songs do not have lyrics but when they do, believe me you will like them!. I guess you can compare the songs to a roller coaster. At first it starts off slow and steady, then it starts getting higher and more exciting, finally once you hit the top there is a moment where you know it’s going to drop and then “boom!” you feel your heart is about to jump out of your chest. At first when people get introduced to Edm a lot say it is just a bunch of loud beats, but with the right song you can get them to fall in love with it, because not all edm is good. If you want to get the full experience the best thing to do is go to edc which is an electronic dance festival, although it can get pricey every penny is worth it not to mention it’s “21+” event. With the right vibes and a good song I would say everyone will end up enjoying this type of music.

There are several of performers who create Electronic dance music, but some are better than others according to popularity and the “charts”. This kind of music is mostly created by disk jockeys, but a good artist to start off with is Steve Aoki. Steve Aoki is one of the best disk jockeys; he has a talent for getting people up and makes any crowd get hyped.  He even has this thing that is kind of weird but cool; every time he performs he grabs a cake and throws it into the crowd and somehow the cake stays fully in tacked, not to mention he does really awesome mixes of popular songs. Music is everywhere but if you really want to switch it up listen to edm specifically Steve Aoki.

  1. Hi! I've definitely heard of electronic dance music from a few friends of mine, mainly since a few of them would talk about EDC and I started watching some videos from previous years. It looks absolutely amazing and fun. The music was awesome as well. Friends and I were actually thinking about going to EDC one of these years. Yes, it is pricey, however my friends that have gone loved every second.
